Abstract

احتل موضوع التنمية الاقتصادية منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية مكانا مرموقا بين الدراسات الاقتصادية، وبدأ يستحوذ على اهتمامات الاقتصاديين والسياسيين في البلدان المتقدمة والنامية، ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي كغيرها من الدول حققت معدلات مقبولة في اتجاه التنمية الاقتصادية ومعدلات النمو الاقتصادي والتي كانت وليدة المجهودات الحثيثة التي قامت بها دول المجلس في سبيل النهوض باقتصاداتها، وخاصة في مجالي النفط والطاقة واللذان يعتبران من أهم القطاعات التي تدر إيرادات معتبرة لهذه الدول، الا أن ارتباط اقتصاديات هذه الدول بالنفط لدرجة كبيرة أدى الى حممل عواقب وخيمة اثر انخفاض أسعار النفط بشكل كبير منذ 2014م.
