Abstract

تعد مدينة طبنة أحد أهم لمدن التاريخية في بلاد المغرب خلال العصرين القديم و الوسيط ، أهلها موقعها الحصين و الاستراتيجي بأن تدون فصولا من تاريخ بلاد المغرب القديم والإسلامي ، فالمدينة التي ظهرت للوجود منذ أواخر القرن الأول قبل الميلاد استمر دورها التاريخي حتى أواخر القرن الثالث عشر ميلادي في ظلال الحضارات التي مرت على المنطقة . و الهدف من دراستنا لموضوع هو التعريف بهذه الحاضرة التي تحولت من منشأة عسكرية رومانية إلى حاضرة إقليم الزاب و عاصمة بلاد المغرب الإسلامي خلال القرن الثاني الهجري ، متتبعين في ذلك ماجادت به كتابات المؤرخين والجغرافيين و الرحالة ، و ما حضيت به المدينة الأثرية من عمليات تنقيبية خلال فترة الاحتلال الفرنسي.
