Abstract

Through our study، we tried to provide information about the documentary balance in the library of the University Center Si Hawas Barika، how to preserve it and the methods and methods of building and developing it in general. The required information besides observing the phenomenon under study، where we divided our study into three chapters in addition to the methodological aspect and the basic steps it contains to address the subject in a systematic way. Followed by the second chapter، which was about the policy and methods adopted in building and developing this balance in the libraries، in addition to the field chapter in the University Center Library - Barika، where we tried to address the available balance at the level of this library. The most important results centered around the fact that despite the development that has occurred due to technology، the university center library still faces difficulties in keeping pace with this development، in addition to a shortage in the number of workers for a university library and an imbalance in employment، as the specialists must be first in the job، so we presented a group Among the proposals، the most important of which was that training courses should be programmed for the staff working in the library in order to rehabilitate the human element and produce specialized cadres in the field، in addition to providing special spaces for various types of credit so that the library would be familiar with all specializations and documentary balances، and try to keep pace with the development taking place، whether in acquisition procedures or providing a service Remote lending، which we hope will improve the general situation، whether at the level of the library that has been studied or all other libraries.
