Abstract

Our study titled Web sites of Algerian university libraries: An Evaluation Study came as an attempt by us to evaluate the sites of Algerian university libraries, in order to reveal their strengths and weaknesses, in order to present proposals to improve and activate these sites. So that we shed light on university libraries and their services, then the websites of libraries and the most prominent of their services, we also touched on the evaluation component, as it is our evaluation study, its requirements and the difficulties facing this process, and then we included the criteria that contain indicators for evaluating the websites of libraries and the authorities responsible for issuing them. Then we examined the analysis of the websites of the libraries according to the listed criteria and put the general results of the study.
