Abstract

Combating corruption In public procurement Is considered one of the top priorities due to Its significant negative impact on public expenditure, societal stability, public trust in government agencies and institutions. This is why this Issue garners significant attention both nationally and internationally, focusing on the development of effective strategies and tools to combat corruption in this crucial sector. As a result, Algeria has taken proactive measures and developed a comprehensive national strategy in line with international standards to combat corruption in public procurement. This strategy includes enhancing objective legal protection against corruption, such as tightening penalties and improving government process transparency. It also seeks to enhance procedural legal aspects, such as simplifying judicial procedures and strengthening investigative methods. It's worth mentioning that there is continuous effort to review and improve the legal framework related to public procurement crimes with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts and ensuring adherence to integrity principles throughout all stages of these transactions.
