تهدف الدراسة التي بين أيدينا إلى الوقوف على واقع الصحافة الاستقصائية في ظل التطورات التكنولوجية والمعطيات الدولية والفساد المستشري في عديد القطاعات، ودور الإعلام التفاعلي في تطوير العمل الصحفي الاستقصائي ممثلاً في موقع ويكيليكس والذي شكل نمطاً جديداً لهذا النوع من الصحافة التي استثمرت المواقع الالكترونية وشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن موقع ويكيليكس شكل انبعاثاً جديداً لممارسة الصحافة الاستقصائية وتطوير التقصي الرقمي.
